Where do I find my Teacher ID?

You can find your ID number at DonorsChoose.org. First go to the site, sign in to your teacher account and scroll to the bottom of your account page. There you’ll find your own, unique teacher ID number.

Add a video of your project.

Put a face to your project, show your passion and use your power of persuasion. Your video may even get featured on the homepage which might help your projects get funded even quicker.

How to create a video.

First, get your web camera ready. Next, click the “Create a video” button. A window will pop up letting you record your video. Don’t forget to smile.

If you have a video describing your project all you have to do is click the “Add Video” button.

Sorry! You are either not a SONIC Teacher in DonorsChoose.org, or do not have an active project.

You can become a SONIC Teacher by following these simple steps:

  1. Log in to your teacher account on DonorsChoose.org.
  2. On your main account page click the box entitled “update affiliations.”
  3. Scroll down and check the box marked “SONIC Teacher” and then click the “Next” button at the bottom of the page.
  4. On the next screen, click “I agree.” You’ll return to your main account page and within 10 minutes you’ll begin seeing the SONIC teacher designation on all of your teacher projects.
  5. Once your project is registered, you, your friends, family, colleagues and other SONIC fans will be able to help vote to support your projects on LimeadesforLearning.com.
