Can you remember a tune that is embedded in your mind from childhood? Well, learning through music is an awesome way to remember and retain a wealth of information.

Since we live in a small rural community, it is difficult to receive materials beyond the basic necessities for our classroom. For the last three years, we have had a zero-base budget for supplies. This means our class only receives the bare necessities to function as a class. Unfortunately, a stereo speaker does not fit in that category.

An I-Pod Docking Station will allow us to creatively interact with music through movement. Reading e-books can also be downloaded and shared together as a class. All the students will be able to benefit from the sounds and experiences of music. Music creates a soothing atmosphere that is a peaceful and conducive to the learning environment!
