Hello!
Every Child Needs a Place for their Supplies!
Mrs. Heyland
Please fund this project and help young students begin learning how to be organized and prepared for the day's lesson. Using the chairback buddy and keeping their supplies organized will teach young students a skill that they will need to use for the rest of their lives.

My students are embarking on a new experience this school year and I want it to be a positive one. I want them to feel safe and responsible in their new classroom. They will have more ownership of their learning when they have a space they can call their own. They will learn to be responsible for their own supplies and classwork, and in turn, will gain a valuable self-control skill that will help them in the future. Organization and preparedness are vital skills in today's 21st century society. Students will have to have these skills to be successful in college and in the work force. Please help me to instill these valuable abilities in my young students!

I am requesting a chairback buddy for each child in my classroom. Each child will have a large pocket for classwork, workbooks, and their journal, as well as smaller pockets for their school supplies. Each child will have a sense of ownership and will take responsibility for their supplies. They will be responsible to keep their pockets neat and in order so that they can quickly find what they need when it is time to begin a lesson. I believe this will make a large impact on our class and the efficiency of my lessons, as well as the organizational skills students are learning.

Thank you for taking the time to read about my project. These chairback buddies will be greatly appreciated by myself in aiding my lessons, as well as by my students in providing them with something to call their own, and a place they can keep their supplies. I believe they will feel empowered by having a specific space that they are in charge of.
My students need a special place of their own to keep their learning materials. These 21 chairback pockets will keep each child's materials in a neat and easy-to-reach place.
